Napa Valley Harvest 2012
Harvest
in Napa Valley has started and grapes are ready to be picked! This past month, Grgich Hills winery hired me to shoot
one of the oldest zinfandel vines in Northern California. On this early morning
shoot I encountered these spectacularly ripe and juicy grapes and I am still in
disbelief that such an old plant could produce such fantastic fruit.
For
those of you who want to shoot in a vineyard, I would recommend beng in the
"field" no later than 6:30am and wait for that magical moment when
the sun shows up and you have about 30 minutes of fantastical light.
