Colorfast Palm Springs Shoot, Spring 2013 Campaign
Just
got back from a great photo shoot in Palm Springs for the Colorfast Apparel
look book, Spring 2013 collection. Not only does Palm Springs make for a gorgeous
location, but so to was the home used for the shoot. After rain spell in the
Southern California, the weather gifted us with a fantastic blue skies and
puffy white clouds.
A big
thanks to all of the team for their hard work and dedication. Thank you especially
to the great Hayley and Brittney of Colorfast for their art direction and creative
input, and as always to my loyal photo assistants, Gianluca and Marco.
Also,
this was the first time also I used my new Canon 5D Mark III for a fashion
shoot. Such a great camera, but I still think it’s not perfect to recover
highlights and shadows. Alas, if the image ends up perfectly exposed then, I
guess that’s not a big deal.
