Rodeo with Leica M6
Finally,
I purchased what I believe to be the best buy for the buck for a slide/film
scanner: The Epson V600. Thank you to my friend Jonathan Vanderveit for the valuable
suggestion.
I had
some slides from a Rodeo I attended few weeks ago in Northern California and I
would like to share them here on my blog. They are all shot with a Leica M6 and
a 50mm F2.0 Summicron. To me, I find the quality of the film for this kind of
reportage to be just right. It gives that organic look that digital cameras
sometimes miss.
Not
only will you love handling this light yet strong camera but also the internal
light meter and the telemeter make it an incredible tool. It’s such an
effortless joy of a camera that you barely hear a noise when you take the
picture!
Here
are some pictures.
